Participants will gain:

  • Generative statement starters for ideation.

  • Prompted creative thinking.

  • Expanded ideation.

Push participants to create many versions; don't let them settle too quickly. Extreme reframings often yield surprising results. Keep the energy playful to encourage creativity. Sometimes, despite our best efforts, a reframe just won't click; move on.

  1. State your challenge clearly.

  2. Get statement starter prompts.

  3. Rewrite the challenge using 'How might we...'.

  4. Try reframing with 'What if...'.

  5. Use 'In what ways might...' to explore further.

  6. Generate multiple versions of each reframing.

  7. Pick the most inspiring versions.

  8. Test these versions using different angles.

  9. Select the best reframings for further exploration.
