Playback

A Playback session lets participants present their work, insights, and takeaways from an activity or workshop. It builds alignment and shared understanding. It also communicates the value of the work.

Participants will align on key outcomes and decisions. Teams share work and get feedback. Everyone gains a shared understanding of progress and next steps.
Participants deliver playbacks. Shared understanding is confirmed. The team gains an aligned perspective.
Playbacks are useful between activities, not just at the end of a workshop. Smaller groups can report progress. Set clear time limits to keep the session on track.

  1. Assign presenters. Designate individuals or subgroups to present findings. 2. Prepare playback. Give presenters time to prepare key points (summary or formal presentation). 3. Present and share. Each group shares their work. 4. Facilitate discussion. Encourage questions to ensure clarity and alignment.
