The goals are to increase team trust and psychological safety. Participants will practice vulnerability and openness. Ultimately, this strengthens interpersonal connections and creates a foundation for healthy conflict.
Participants will demonstrate trustworthy work and build stakeholder confidence. They'll also establish credibility within the group.
Lead by example; be genuinely vulnerable when you go first. Respect boundaries; don't push people beyond their comfort zone. Follow up with a team charter or working agreements.

  1. Set expectations (5 min): Explain the importance of vulnerability for team trust. Establish confidentiality.

  2. Personal histories (10 min): Each person shares where they grew up, the number of siblings they have, and a unique childhood challenge.

  3. Professional journey (10 min): Share first job, worst job, and dream job (if not current).

  4. Working style preferences (5 min): Discuss individual preferences for communication, feedback, and collaboration.
